Shana Youngdahl

Shana Youngdahl is a poet and novelist who teaches writing at The University of Maine, Farmington and has directed the Longfellow Young Writers' Workshop. Her poetry collection History, Advice and Other Half-Truths was a finalist for the Maine Literary Award in poetry, and her debut novel As Many Nows As I Can Get (Dial/Penguin Teen) received a starred review from Kirkus and was noted as a not-to-miss Summer YA Read by Bookish. Shana has received grants from the Iowa Arts Council and The American Antiquarian Society. She is passionate about supporting other writers on their paths.
