Norma K. Salway
Norma K. Salway, retired educator has written five books since her retirement and now a sixth, I Can Hear the Music. Her first, The Spirit of Songo is a collection of original poems about the lake in Western Maine. The second, Touched by a Hummingbird, written and illustrated by Salway, tells the true story of rescuing a hummingbird before her friend's funeral. The book, I'm Just a Kid, You Know, chronicles her adventures teaching kindergarten and first grade. The Attic & ME is a memoir about growing up on a farm in rural Maine during the fifties. My Maine School Bus Driver, and illustrated children's book, follows a school bus driver on his route in a coastal Maine town. She lives in Portland, ME with her cat, Gusty, where she enjoys gardening and crafting.
