Michelle Shores

Michelle E Shores grew up in Bangor, Maine. A lover of history, she has been actively involved with genealogy and local history for over 35 years. She is the author of the nonfiction Vital Records of Bangor Maine, Volumes 1 & 2 published by Picton Press. She also edited The Descendants of Joshua Gray, on behalf of The Gray Family Reunion Committee, printed by Downeast Printers. Michelle has written articles for local newspapers, genealogical newsletters and has worked as a ghost writer in other genealogical publications. The Gathering Room – A Tale of Nelly Butler released in September 2022 is Michelle’s first fiction novel. Michelle is currently the Advertising Manager for the Maine Tourism Association.
