Karin Spitfire

Karin Spitfire, the author of The Body in Late Stage Capitalism (2021) Standing with Trees (2005) and a chapbook “Wild Caught,”(2007), won national first place in the 2019 Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contest, for “Liquidation.” Her poems have appeared in, You Say. Say, Canary: A Literary Journal of the Environmental Crisis, The Catch Trivia: Voices of Feminism, Currents, and the Journal of Body Mind Centering. She was the Poet Laureate of Belfast, Me in 2007 & 2008.
