Jen Lynds is an adjunct professor at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, where she teaches English, communication, and journalism. She holds a master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University in English/Fiction Writing and American history. Lynds was a journalist for Bangor Daily News and Northeast Publishing Company for 23 years. She continues freelancing as a writer and copywriter. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Sigma Tau Delta-Alpha Phi Beta, International English Honor Society. An award-winning writer, she has won several Maine Press Association awards.
