Caleb Mason

Caleb Mason is the author of seven books, including four novels under the pen name Don Trowden. His March 2025 novel Thickafog was inspired by Vinalhaven island. Jane Smiley says: “Insightful and beautifully written.” Publishers Weekly says “a stunning literary mystery” in their starred review. His novel The Last Renter is being published in April 2026. He is the co-author of Young Again published in 2022. His other published works are: The Isles of Shoals Remembered (1992); Normal Family (2012); No One Ran to the Altar (2016); and All the Lies We Live (2018).
